Miami attorney Aaron Resnick helped organize a Miami Beach fundraiser for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign, where Kerry's stepson Chris Heinz drew the crowd.
Lesley Clark's Miami Herald story followed the campaign's fundraisers in Key West and Miami Beach and called Heinz a formidable draw. Aaron told the Herald he was stunned “that so many people knew who Chris Heinz was.”
“I got all these e-mails saying, ‘Is he really going to be there?' I guess he's a very eligible bachelor.”
Aaron Resnick, quoted in the Miami Herald, June 6, 2004
